In her presentation “οἶκος and women’s space”, Lela Gaprindashvili, a feminist philosopher, author and a professor at the faculty of social and political sciences at Tbilisi State University, discusses specific standings of women in Georgian subcultures: peculiarities of their upbringing, socialization and self-assertion, with a special focus on women’s activities and creative work, as a culture of looking after, caring, and preservation.
