Postcard competition “Love Varieties”

For the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) “Women’s Initiatives Supporting Group” (WISG) announces an open competition for the postcards.

The contest aims to promote tolerance toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Georgia.

Competition Terms and Conditions:

  • The competition is open to anyone;
  • One author can send several works;
  • The work should belong to the sender.

The work must meet the following conditions:

  • Must comply with the topic of contest;
  • Must include a slogan that reflects the concept of work and / or competition;
  • Must be sent in 2 formats: JPEG (maximum size 250 KB) to upload on web-site, and TIFF format (maximum size of 5 MB) For printing, resolution 300 DPI;
  • Format of an artwork – A5.

The work may be submitted in photographic, graphic or mixed technique.

The works including homophobic, xenophobic and sexist massages will not be considered in the competition.

The competition includes prizes for winners:

I place the contestant (the prize amount – 275 GEL)

II place the contestant (the prize amount – 200 GEL)

III place the contestant (the prize amount – 125 GEL)

There will be a special prize for the author, whose work will gather the majority of “likes” on Facebook.

Additional conditions: ‘Women’s Initiatives Supporting Group” reserves the right to use the works sent in the frames of competition in printed materials of the organization with the indication of author’s name (first name, last name or pseudonym).

Note: All cash prizes are subject to 20% tax that will be implemented by “Women’s Initiative Support Group”.
