A social worker is the first professional that a rights holder interacts with when seeking services at the organization. Together with the rights holder, the social worker conducts a needs assessment and develops a plan for change. Based on the needs, the social worker refers rights holders to specialists or services either within or outside the organization, accompanies them accordingly, helps them to acquire relevant professional skills and employment, obtain physical and mental health services, and manifest and realize their potential and resources, etc.

Social workers also work with rights holders’ family members in case of need and consent.

Minor rights holders obtain services based on the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

The lawyer provides legal advice and subsequent services in criminal, civil and administrative cases. This includes telephone, online or in-person counseling, legal services and representation in government agencies or the courts.

In addition, for cases of particular significance, the lawyer conducts strategic litigation in the Constitutional Court, the European Court of Human Rights, and UN agencies.

Psychological counselling involves individual and group work aiming at supporting the mental health of rights holders. Psychological counselling entails the psychoeducation and empowerment of rights holders’ family members and/or supporters. Psychological counselling may be provided remotely via telecommunication if mobility restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances arise.

The work of the psychologist/counsellor is based on international professional ethics standards, ensures strict observance of the principles of confidentiality and provides a safe space for those who seek/receive services. 

Consultation with a clinical sexologist involves one-to-one work to provide sexual health care to service recipients. Sexologist counselling entails the provision of information on gender and sexuality, partnership nuances, and the range and scope of acceptance. Consultation with a clinical sexologist allows to rule out and prevent sexual disorders.

Together with the doctor, service recipients can evaluate individual aspects of their sexuality, gender identity, and sexual orientation. The sexologist operates in full compliance with international standards of medical ethics and confidentiality.
