The Charter of Journalistic Ethics issued a decision on the statement of WISG and Temida against TV company "Imedi" and found a violation of the first and seventh principles of the Charter in the disputed story.
We would like to remind you that the disputed material, which was broadcast on September 17, 2023, was a report of the "Imedis Kvira" program called "Victim of a Medical Scandal". Irakli Chikhladze was the responsible journalist and a host, who at th same time is the editor of the program "Imedis Kvira".
We will offer our assessment of the motivational part of the Charter's decision, after the Charter will have published this part.
